This hands-on role is responsible for the ongoing upkeep, repair, and improvement of all club buildings and related infrastructure — ensuring safe, functional, and well-maintained spaces for our members, guests, and staff.

**Role Overview**:
As the Building Maintenance Technician, your primary focus will be the interior and exterior care of multiple lodges and facilities of varying age and condition. You will address both scheduled and urgent maintenance tasks across a wide range of systems — from lighting and plumbing to structural repairs and finish work — while maintaining high standards of safety and presentation.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Complete routine inspections and preventative maintenance across all club buildings
- Perform repairs related to electrical (non-licensed), plumbing, carpentry, drywall, and painting
- Maintain and improve interior building finishes including flooring, ceilings, fixtures, and trim
- Assist with seasonal tasks related to opening, closing, and winterizing buildings
- Maintain clean, safe, and organized work and storage areas
- Document work performed and support inventory management for supplies and tools
- Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to ensure facility upkeep aligns with club standards

**Skills & Qualifications**:

- Minimum 3 years’ experience in building maintenance or related trades
- Proficient with hand and power tools, basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and interior finishes
- Ability to diagnose problems and take initiative on repairs
- Comfortable with physical work including lifting, ladder use, and working in various weather conditions
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Valid Ontario driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
- WHMIS, First Aid/CPR, or trade certifications considered assets

**Position Details**:

- Full-time, permanent position
- Schedule may include some weekends or holidays depending on seasonal needs
- Work is primarily conducted indoors, with some outdoor work as needed for building-related tasks

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
