We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Safety Coordinator to join our team.

Position key responsibilities.
- Support HSE Programs.
- Data entry and record keeping.
- Writing reports.
- Participate in the development of safety programs.
- Deliver orientations.
- Assist with Pre-qualification.
- Occasionally lead safety meetings.
- Take meeting mins.
- Support the Joint Work Health and Safety committee.
- Complete inspection checklists on the shop floor.
- Assist with WCB paperwork.
- Gather incident investigation paperwork.

Position requirements.
- Must have at a minimum have a Health Safety Administration designation ( years of experience in an HSE role will be considered).
- Proficient Microsoft suite skills.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Good communication skills and must be a self-starter.
- Must be a team player.
- NCSO will be considered an asset.
- Experience implementing a Safety Management System will be considered an asset.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment will be considered an asset.

**Salary**: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
