As an integral member of the Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) team, the HSE Administrator will collaborate closely with the HSE Director of the Commercial Systems & Utilities Division. Your role will involve ensuring that all administrative functions are executed with precision and timeliness, thereby supporting effective field operations.

This is an on-site/office-based position, perfect for applicants already local to one of the following Canem branch locations - Victoria, Vancouver, Edmonton, Calgary, Winnipeg, or Mississauga.

What You Will Be Working On- Assist the HSE Director and coordinators in various administrative tasks.- Facilitate HSE components with third-party qualification processes (e.g., ISN, Avetta).- Prepare, format, publish, and archive HSE documentation.- Support HSE coordinators with onboarding procedures.- Manage and support HSE platforms.- Maintain and update HSE records, logs, statistics, and metrics.- Assist with Workers' Compensation Board (WCB) administrative tasks.- Handle calls and utilize various computer software to prepare statistical reports, rolling action logs, and communication documents.

What We Are Looking For- Minimum of 3 years of experience as an HSE Administrator.- In-depth knowledge of HSE terminology and processes.- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate to advanced level).- Ability to remain objective and maintain a factual perspective when addressing questions and inquiries.- Proven ability to build and sustain positive relationships with diverse groups.- Strong written and verbal communication skills.- Capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously and adapting to the demands of a dynamic business environment.- Competence in working under tight deadlines while maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy.- Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with meticulous attention to detail.
