We're looking for a Compliance Coordinator to support our St. Bruno location.

About the role:
As Compliance Coordinator you'd be responsible to:

- Review, Verify, and maintain the SQF System in accordance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices, specifically tailored for our food packaging items.
- Ensure implementing SQF standard within the company by regular inspecting, monitoring, auditing and verifying different parts of the standard.
- Update, re-evaluate and validate the HACCP system and the SQF standard.
- Assist the Food Safety and Compliance manager in general tasks of the compliance department.
- Ensure compliance with the company's written program (procedures).
- Conduct testing on products to ensure they are within the expected tolerances.
- Train the production team on Quality Controls, SOPs, GMPs, and SQF procedures to improve product excellence.
- Ensure proper follow up of NCRs until conclusion.
- Perform regular quality assessments on all incoming and outgoing products.
- Report to the Food Safety and Compliance Manager.
- Ensure the quality tests made by operators during production are performed according to the SOPs.
- Recommend improvements to the production process to ensure quality control.
- Control, and verify all records and documents
- Act as substitute for Food Safety and Compliance Manager
- Performs all other related duties

About the requirements:

- Knowledge of SQF/AIB/GMP/HACCP
- Dynamic, organized, and team player.
- Practical knowledge of Food Security.
- Demonstrated technical report writing skills.
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role is an asset.
- Good knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong understanding of quality control standards and testing techniques.
- Detail oriented.

A propos du poste:
En tant que coordinateur de la conformité, vous serez responsable de:

- Examiner, vérifier et maintenir le système SQF conformément aux exigences réglementaires et aux meilleures pratiques de l'industrie, spécifiquement adaptées à nos articles d'emballage alimentaire.
- Vous êtes responsable de la mise en œuvre de la norme SQF au sein de l'entreprise par le biais d'inspections régulières, de suivis, d'audits et de vérifications des différentes parties de la norme.
- Mettre à jour, réévaluer et valider le système HACCP et la norme SQF.
- Assister le responsable de la sécurité alimentaire et de la conformité dans les tâches générales du département de la conformité.
- Veiller au respect du programme de procédures de l’entreprise.
- Effectuer des tests sur les produits pour s'assurer qu'ils se situent dans les tolérances prévues.
- Former l'équipe de production sur les différents points de contrôles de qualité, les SOP, les BPF ainsi que les procédures SQF afin d'améliorer des produits.
- Assurer un suivi adéquat des rapports de non-conformité jusqu'à leur conclusion.
- Effectuer des évaluations régulières de la qualité de tous les produits entrants et sortants.
- Se rapporte au responsable de la sécurité alimentaire et de la conformité.
- Veiller à ce que les tests de qualité effectués par les opérateurs au cours de la production soient réalisés conformément aux procédures standard d’opérations
- Recommander des améliorations au processus de production afin d’assurer la qualité des produits fabriqués.
- Contrôler et vérifier tous les registres et documents.
- Remplacer le responsable de la sécurité alimentaire et de la conformité, lors d’absence sporadique.
- Effectuer toutes autres tâches connexes.
