This role provides critical knowledge and support in the preparation, registration and maintenance of collateral securities in servicing CWB’s loan portfolio with a focus on our Equipment Financing Group (EFG). As a Collateral Securities Specialist, you will work to support leaders drive a high level of quality and standards, risk management, and strong data integrity. Day-to-day activities Client experience. Collaboration. Service delivery. Process specialist Client Experience - Deliver exceptional client experiences at every interaction and execute on plans to continuously build the client experience, in line with CWB’s brand promise. Internal Service Commitments - Provide collateral securities support to an assigned branch network portfolio, leaders & client relationship managers through a continuous collaborative approach with the business and corporate departments. Corresponding with all partners, both verbally and in writing, regarding all loan processing, including inquiries. - Ensure Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets and quality benchmarks for credit support are being met - Establish a collaborative and client-centric relationship with the credit support department ad branch network while balancing the efficiencies and governance of a standardized structure. - Ensures understanding on closing requirements with branch lending teams, customers and attorneys as needed while ensuring that all closings occur within scheduled target dates. Process Compliance & Optimization - Contribute to the implementation, maintenance and improvement of processes which lead to consistent and predictable daily credit support outcomes across the branch network. - Ensure contributions to collateral securities align with the Bank’s policy & guidelines to ensure branch partners are able to continue to deliver exceptional customer service. - Accountability as the team member for the execution of work procedures, policies and methods to ensure compliance with Canadian Western Bank’s legal, regulatory business policies and procedures. - Actively engage in the targeted benefit realization from credit processing standardization - Demonstrates high degree of effort to achieve accuracy and consistency at all times. - Participates in projects that primarily impact functional area or specific department, adhering to standard project governance practices and operating within approved budget. - Perform de diligence as it relates to credit support activities, procedures and documentation for compliance with regulatory bodies. Knowledge to grow from - Minimum of 3 years credit support experience with solid understanding of collateral securities - Knowledge of commercial lending policies, procedures, regulations, documentation, compliance issues, collateral securities and audit requirements - Technologically proficient in Banking Systems, Loan Origination Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Forms.
