This may be the perfect opportunity for you as our Conservation and Energy Management department is looking to hire a Program Specialist, Strategic Partnerships, who will drive our conservation programs and nurture customer-centric experiences. We want you to utilize your customer-centric vision to simplify the customer experience and leverage stakeholder insights to improve the reach and satisfaction with our programs.

We've set ourselves apart with our 30BY30 commitment to reduce our customer's overall greenhouse gas emissions by 30 per cent by the year 2030, and we need your help to get there. In this role, you will:
Understand our strategic business at a high level in order to effectively build working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to support partnerships such as with CleanBC, BC Hydro, Associations and other utilities
While understanding the big picture, execute detail-oriented tasks such as reporting, data analysis, reviewing legal agreements, and completing Privacy Impact Assessments to support successful partnerships
Assist in the project management of a range of activities that support partnerships as we strive to continue our leadership role in BC’s conservation and energy management field and FortisBC’s decarbonization initiatives. What it takes:
A Diploma in Marketing, Communications or a related discipline from a recognized program, plus a minimum of three years of recent, related experience in program development.
Demonstrated customer service approach and relationship building skills with program stakeholders.
Exceptional organizational and project management skillset.
Ability to work independently and with partners in a fast-paced environment with complex processes.
Confident analytical skills and able to confidently make decisions based on facts and data

This position will require some travel away from the base office to within the geographic area of coverage.
