**Regional Product Support Advisor - **_Summit Trailer (Acheson, AB)_

**Responsibilities**
- Maintain relationships with OEM’s and existing suppliers
- Provide technical support and product knowledge to all branches and customers
- Track, monitor, investigate and resolve customer queries, complaints or issues in regards to warranty or quality issues.
- Travel to all branches to ensure internal staff are updated and trained on any product changes, additions and developments.
- Prepare and deliver any technical training and product demonstrations as assigned.
- Continual research of industry related products and market conditions.
- Prepare accurate and competitive quotes/estimates for our Customers.
- Develop and maintain accurate quote sheets for all branches to utilize.
- Regularly promote and positions key strategic product and service offerings with any new and existing customers.
- Learns the full range of Summit products, and services and is able to identify how these products and services align to the Customer’s needs.
- Act as a resource and liaison for support to the Service, Parts and Sales Teams
- Proactively communicate upcoming changes, new products, issues
- Complete special projects as needed

**Education & Experience**:

- 5+ years’ experience in the Transportation industry
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Ability to quote trucks/trailers including trailer collision repairs
- Quality Assurance training an asset

**Skills**:

- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong team player
- Must be self-driven, structured and results oriented with a positive and professional attitude
- Pro-active problem solver and decision maker
- Strong negotiation skills
- Organized, ability to set priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Excellent verbal and written skills
- Has strong teaching, coaching and training skills
- Ability to communicate, cooperate and collaborate with colleagues, cross-functionally, to support all the Branches processes.
- Demonstrates good judgment in analyzing information to make routine decisions.
- Effectively prioritizes multiple demands while ensuring customer needs are met.
- Escalates customer issues/concerns as appropriate.

**Other**:Ability to travel within Alberta and British Columbia when required.
