The Provincial Lead, Employee and Student Learning provides strategic leadership and direction in the development and implementation of learning activities across the organization. Working collaboratively with the management team, internal and external stakeholders to design and manage a learning environment that enables high levels of competency within the organization and within the talent pipeline.

**Major Functions and Responsibilities**
- Provide strategic leadership, direction and oversight to learning activities including online and classroom learning within the organization.
- Provide oversight and direction for the ongoing development and maintenance of the Learning Management System.
- Oversee the design and delivery e-learning courses, workshops and other training.
- Offer excellent customer service including but not limited to developing and maintaining cooperative. and positive working relationships with all key stakeholders, and providing the highest possible service to the management team, employees, students and other stakeholders.
- Obtain and/or oversee the development of effective training materials utilizing a variety of media
- Represent DynaLIFE on educational advisory committees across the province including but not limited to NAIT, SAIT and UAH.
- Provide oversight and direction for practicums provided by DynaLIFE and liaises with educational institutes to facilitate student learning success.
- Provide oversight to the MLS research projects with Microbiologists, Chemists and/or Pathologists.
- Provide backup and assistance to the Training Coordinator, and CT Specialist as required.
- Support educational institutions with their accreditation processes.
- Establish departmental annual goals that support the overall strategic direction of the organization
- Prepare and maintain annual departmental budget requirements.

- Highly developed computer skills including knowledge of MS office, MS Visio.
- Knowledge of Laboratory Information Systems is an asset.
- Ability to manage effectively in ambiguous circumstances.
- Strong ability to advocate for the importance of ongoing learning.
- Strong ability to teach, instruct, lead discussions, coach and mentor both groups and individuals.

Required Experience
- 3-5 years experience in a leadership role preferred.
- 3-5 years experience in a laboratory role is an asset.
- Extensive knowledge of Learning Management Systems, learning theory, adult learning principles and instructional design

preferred.
- Compliance with all laws specific to laboratory operations including Health Information Act and Privacy Legislation.

**Minimum Qualifications**
- Medical Laboratory Technologist certified (diploma or degree) or a related diploma/degree is preferred.

- As workload demands and operational requirements shift, the location, dates and/or hours of work may be changed

- All persons hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_Dx _**must be authorized to work in Canada for any employer.
- Individuals hired into all positions must provide verification of their highest level of education.
- A security clearance will be required for employees newly hired to _Dyna_**_LIFE_**_Dx_**.
