**About the Tula Foundation**
The Tula Foundation is an independent charitable foundation rooted in British Columbia with global interests and outreach. We have used our facilities and resources to create a vast network of collaborators from academia, government agencies, and First Nations. Our collective efforts have catalyzed an enormous quantity of science, education, and stewardship. Our divisions include:
- Hakai Institute - an active, engaged scientific research institution with ecological observation stations on Calvert Island and Quadra Island. Known for the long-term research we do on BC’s coast, for the scientific papers we publish, and for the compelling media we create.
- Quadra Centre for Coastal Dialogue - a division supporting meetings and workshops wherever they may happen with a designated location on Quadra Island, with meeting space and dorms.
- Media - a division showcasing the work we all do through video and award-winning journalism.
- Tula Health (TulaSalud) - an area that supports health systems for developing countries, particularly Guatemala’s rural indigenous communities, by providing education and resources.
To facilitate all of these endeavors, we need the concerted effort of the team that supports it all. More than anything else, it is the quality of that team that supports our work, but crucially, it also supports our partnerships with other organizations and distinguishes us as a cut above.
**Who We’re Looking For**
We are looking for highly dedicated individuals, people who embrace our scientific and service mission; people who don't see their work in isolation and can see the bigger picture - those who want to be a key member of a big team that is doing great work collectively. We’re looking for people not satisfied with one monotonous role - people who are willing to pitch in anywhere and who want to learn all the things.

- Serve as the backup contact for guests, handling inquiries and issues promptly
- Help with travel coordination and logistics
- Provide regular reports to the Site Manager on operations, staffing, and any issues
- Keep clear and open lines of communication with the head office

Experience: [3-5+] years of experience in a front desk or managerial role.
Education: Formal education in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred but not required.
