**Rate of Pay: $24.09 - $24.63**
**per hour**

We are recruiting for casual Addiction Crisis Worker positions at Balmoral Centre. We provide medically monitored withdrawal management services to men and women over the age of 16. Working as a member of an interdisciplinary team, the Addiction Crisis Worker facilitates admissions and transitions, supportive intervention during withdrawal and stabilization and facilitates group programming. This is a rewarding role working as part of a team to provide client-centred care in a fast-paced environment.

**Qualifications**:

- Minimum two (2) years post secondary education in a Human Services field (eg. addictions, social work, psychology) and/or a combination of addictions training and previous working experience in an addiction field
- Previous experience in Behaviour Management
- Valid CPR and First Aid certification
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with computer-based data entry is an asset
- Class G Driver's Licence and adequate insurance
- Demonstrated regular attendance at work

**CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT**
- This position shall be conditional upon a satisfactory Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC) where indicated, to ensure the absence of relevant criminal convictions.
