**WHO ARE WE?**

Channel-ex Trading Corp was founded in 2005 as a Canadian wood product exporter to Japan. We have since expanded to serve the North American market with a range of products from structural components to finished building materials made from a variety of wood species. British Columbia has some of the highest standards of sustainable forest management in the world, enabling us to offer products around the world derived from sustainably managed forests. **WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?**
- Experience in sales, preferably in the forestry and lumber industry. Experience in an adjacent field will also be considered an asset.
- You enjoy meeting and serving new people with the goal of building sustainable relationships.
- You are interested in professional and personal development, looking to grow within your role and your new company.
- People around you say that you are both a strong communicator and a good listener.
- You can handle difficult situations with persistence and adaptability, and who is willing to learn from mistakes and changes in the market.

**WHAT WILL I DO?**
- Develop and maintain B2B and B2C relationships.
- Utilize a customer relationship management system to manage client relationships.
- Lead generation focused on pursuing new and existing sales opportunities to drive revenue growth.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer needs are met.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and market developments.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to promote the company and its products.
- Prepare and deliver sales presentations and proposals to prospective customers.
- Monitor and report on sales performance and market trends.
- Driving is required for this role.

**WHAT IS THE COMPENSATION?**

Salary for this role is structured with base pay plus an additional profit sharing model. Compensation will be shared transparently during our initial phone interview. Here are some of the other benefits you will receive as an employee:
