**What you will do**
- Establish a strong security presence to deter crime and theft
- Document theft and other security violations
- Patrol the premises, provide access control and respond to emergency situations in an appropriate and timely manner
- Perform safety and security duties with the highest standards of professionalism and integrity
- Complete incident reports and required documentation for all security incidents
- Identify potential security risks and respond accordingly
- Provide excellent customer service to our clients, customers and patrons
- Respond to emergencies and escalate to law enforcement agencies as required
- A Valid Security License
- A keen interest in asset protection
- Willing to stand/ patrol for the duration of the shift
- Previous security experience in a retail environment
- Strong communication skills, both written and spoken.
- Willingness to attend meetings and improve skills’
- Ability to work without close supervision
- Must be willing and comfortable to stop theft
- Experience with arrests and detaining shoplifters
- Use of Force Certification

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual

Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Abbotsford, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Security: 1 year (preferred)
- Retail Loss prevention: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Security License (required)
- Drivers License (preferred)
- AST (preferred)
