- **What you will do**:_
- Be a visible, professional deterrent lead with customer service and calm presence.
- Detect & respond to suspicious activity; prevent loss through proactive patrols and observation.
- Access control at lobbies, docks, and gates; stop tailgating/piggybacking.
- Conduct regular foot patrols and targeted checks of high-risk areas.
- Enforce the Trespass Act (BC), Criminal Code of Canada, and applicable site rules.
- Respond to alarms and incidents per post orders; secure premises.
- Produce clear, timely incident and daily reports in our online systems.
- Maintain professional appearance and deportment at all times.
- **What you bring**:_
- High personal integrity and excellent communication (written & verbal).
- Customer-service mindset with confident, respectful enforcement.
- Strong situational awareness, multitasking, and problem-solving.
- **Education / Experience**:_
- Prior security experience (residential, retail, mobile, or events).
- Advanced Security Training, OFA Level 1 or 2, or similar.
- Police Foundations / Law & Security studies (completed or in progress).
- Valid BC driver’s licence and access to a vehicle.

- **Valid Security Guard Licence (BC)**:

- Ability to travel across the **Lower Mainland to Abbotsford and North Vancouver**:

- Reliable punctuality and readiness to cover **on-call** assignments

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

- Are you able to stand/walk outdoors for up to 8-12 hours and work in all weather?
- Are you available for evenings, overnights, weekends, and short-notice call-ins?
- Can you reliably travel across the Lower Mainland (Vancouver, Burnaby, Richmond, Surrey, Langley, Coquitlam/PoCo, Abbotsford, North Vancouver) for on-call assignments?

- Security: 2 years (required)
