Be part of an innovative, Global Capital Markets and Investment Banking business with a unique geographic footprint that puts capital to work for our clients across industries We work together to drive ambition for every future **Purpose** Support in managing sales and trading activities in relation to distribution of Scotiabank originated transactions in the natural gas & power derivatives market; and buying and selling assts on behalf of the bank while ensuring the compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures. **What You'll Do**: - Analyzing a range of fundamental and technical data and monitor markets to formulate market views and develop strategies to maximize trading profit and maintain and develop client relationships. - Cultivate a customer-focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge - Assist the Sales and Trading staff in their day-to-day functions on the trade floor with a variety of needs such as trade entry and physical operations as well as ad-hoc requests. - Deal in investments and execution orders on behalf of clients.
