**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Secondary school (High School) diploma, or equivalent
- One year of manufacturing preferred..

**PREFERRED**:

- Experience in manufacturing and machine operating roles.
- Leadership abilities.
- Basic Computer literacy

**Overview**
- assists with and supports the daily operation of the Printing Department.

**SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Press Assistant**
- Performs unwinds, rewinds, and ink duties; assists with all press functions
- Assists with changeovers
- Monitors press in absence of Pressman
- Assists with preventative maintenance as required

**Pre-Press**
- Prepares cylinders for press
- Cleans plates and performs pre-press preventative maintenance
- Maintains aniloxes

**Wash-up/Ink Room**
- Distillation of waste solvent
- Preventative maintenance of equipment
- Operates Renzmann part-washer
- Cleans press tooling
- Rebuilds doctor chambers

**Mounting**
- Mounts plates per quality and quota targets
- Preventative maintenance of equipment
- Production recording in SAP
