**The Role**:
As a **Purchaser** at CES Corporation, you will play a vital role in the procurement of materials, equipment, and components needed for our cutting-edge immersion cooling systems. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth processing of purchasing transactions, sourcing the best suppliers, and negotiating prices for the components required to bring our projects to life. This role is crucial for ensuring the timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to support the development of our innovative data systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Purchasing**:

- Review requisition orders for accuracy and ensure materials, equipment, and stock are procured according to project specifications and timelines.
- Source suppliers, negotiate pricing, and prepare purchase orders for high-quality components needed for immersion cooling systems.
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to ensure on-time deliveries and to resolve procurement issues such as shortages, missed deliveries, or discrepancies.
- Process purchase orders and invoices, calculate costs, and forward invoices to the appropriate accounts for payment.
- Monitor material availability and ensure stock levels are aligned with project requirements, preventing delays and shortages.
- Maintain detailed records of purchasing activities, including orders, deliveries, supplier communications, and cost breakdowns.

**Required Skills**:

- **Strong Negotiation Skills**: Ability to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms while building and maintaining solid relationships with suppliers.
- **Attention to Detail**: Ensure the accuracy of purchase orders, procurement documentation, and material specifications.
- **Analytical Thinking**: Able to assess purchasing needs, calculate costs, and identify opportunities for efficiency and cost savings.
- **Effective Communication**: Clear communication skills to liaise with suppliers and internal teams to resolve issues and ensure project success.
- **Adaptability**: Comfortable in a fast-paced, start-up environment where priorities can change quickly.
- **Problem-Solving**: Creative thinking to resolve supply chain issues and optimize material flows for maximum efficiency.

**Preferred Experience**:

- Prior experience in a purchasing role, preferably within a technology, manufacturing, or construction-related industry.
- Experience with computerized procurement systems and software.
- Basic understanding of electrical components or industrial equipment used in data centre construction is a plus.

**Education**:

- Secondary school diploma required.
- Courses or certifications in purchasing management, supply chain, or procurement are an asset.
