About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to support construction project execution, maintain quality standards, and assist in site coordination. This role involves reviewing scopes, preparing sites for upcoming trades, conducting walk-throughs, and supporting project managers with scheduling, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform material counts and coordinate ordering.
  • Review scopes of work and ensure accuracy against plans.
  • Conduct walk-throughs and prepare sites for next trades and COS reviews.
  • Coordinate with subtrades, internal teams, and project staff to ensure workflow efficiency.
  • Assist with identifying and resolving schedule conflicts, quality issues, and site challenges.
  • Contribute to three-week lookahead schedules and support the Project Execution Plan (PEP).
  • Maintain accurate documentation and provide quality-related reporting.
  • Participate in site meetings and support communication between teams (no client communication beyond directing inquiries to the PM).

Qualifications
  • Strong construction knowledge (methods, materials, specifications, drawings).
  • Ability to read schedules, understand critical paths, and support lookahead planning.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and construction project systems.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driver abstract required.
