Qualifications:
Essential:
- Experience performing cashier functions, including processing payments, balancing daily deposits, reconciliation, and using cashier-related office equipment (e.g. Point of Sale Terminal and an adding machine).
- Experience performing clerical and administrative duties, including filing, preparing correspondence, data entry, and processing mail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills in order to meet deadlines and manage competing demands.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with other departmental staff, external agencies, other professionals and the general public.
- Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
- Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Excellent verbal communication skills.
Desired:
- Experience with the Boiler, Elevator and Trades Licensing Programs software.
**Duties**:
Under the supervision of the Financial Services Team Lead for human resource matters, the Revenue and Financial Processing Clerk is responsible for providing Point-of-Sale (POS) services and supporting the accounts receivable function for Inspection and Technical Services (ITS) and external clients at the Winnipeg head office.
