**Eastern Quality Manager**
CIMS Limited Partnership is seeking a detail-oriented, people-focused leader to join our team as the Eastern Quality Manager. In this critical role, you will oversee all quality-related aspects of daily operations within your division, ensuring that quality systems, processes, documentation, and skilled personnel consistently deliver outstanding results to both internal and external stakeholders.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Lead and maintain CIMS' Jurisdictional and Regulatory Certification requirements within your division, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Develop and implement a robust Quality program aligned with CIMS' strategic goals, enhancing regional outcomes.
- Identify, manage, and report Quality risks and opportunities.
- Allocate Quality resources effectively to ensure cost-efficient project execution.
- Integrate CIMS’ Core Values into all business practices, promoting safety, quality, customer value, and integrity.
- **CWB Level 2 Certification or higher**: A crucial requirement for this role, ensuring expertise in welding inspection and adherence to Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) standards.
- Extensive experience with **Weld Inspection and Non-Destructive Examination (NDE)** techniques, ensuring the quality and safety of welded components.
- Strong knowledge of **Nuclear inspection** processes, including experience with **Nuclear CSA and ASME codes and standards**. Prior involvement in nuclear projects is essential.
- In-depth understanding of **industrial codes and standards** such as AWS, ASTM, ASME, API, ISO, CSA, and NACE.
- Proven ability to **audit, assess, and ensure compliance** with QMS requirements, including competency in inspection procedures.
- Experience across multiple industries (e.g., pulp & paper, mining, oil & gas, Nuclear).
- Ability to develop, review, and approve Inspection and Test Plans (ITP) and quality procedures.
- Familiarity with **pressure vessels, piping fabrication**, and testing processes, as well as **rotating equipment assembly, inspection**, and testing requirements.
- A hands-on, driven leader who exemplifies strong leadership and is willing to travel to regional offices and client sites as needed.
**Key Skills and Attributes**:
- Strong relationship-building skills with large, complex customers.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical abilities, with experience in **root cause analysis** and evaluating supplier corrective and preventative actions.
- Familiar with chairing quality meetings, leading discussions on quality-related matters, and ensuring team alignment on objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively across all levels of a project team.
- Experience with or willingness to adopt **fact-based decision-making** processes.
