**Job Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate full-time Veterinary Technician/RVT to join our amazing team at our two locations in Corunna & Wallaceburg. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing high-quality care for animals while assisting veterinarians in various clinical tasks. Your expertise will help ensure the health and well-being of our patients, making a positive impact on their lives and the lives of their owners.

**Duties**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations, treatments and surgical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and IV fluids.
- Conduct lab tests and radiographs.
- Monitor the health and behavior of animals before, during, and after procedures.
- Maintain accurate medical records for each patient.
- Prepare animals for surgery and assist with post-operative care.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventive health measures.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments and equipment.
- Ability to lift large dogs and spend long periods of time standing.
- Proficiency in laboratory techniques is essential for performing diagnostic tests.

**Requirements**:

- A diploma from a CVMA recognized (or equivalent) from a Veterinary Technician program.
- Can work at both locations in Corunna and Wallaceburg.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $20.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 40 per week
