**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Load, unload, sort and examine and identify incoming parts to serial number, purchase order and other specifications as required.
- Check, inspect and count incoming materials for damages and discrepancies.
- Inspect incoming parts and determine requirements for processing and input data as required in electronic booking system using tablet computer.
- Check goods received with bills-of-lading or receiving slips.
- Keep the loading dock clear and ready for deliveries and pickups.
- Remove parts from boxes, racks or skids and place in designated area for processing.
- Inspect incoming shipping containers and determine if they are reusable, or need repair or replacement.
- Review and verify part processing specifications by referring to purchase orders, OEM specifications, drawing/prints and old order information.
- Contact and respond to Customer Service Representatives or manufacturing personnel to resolve questions which may arise when processing orders.
- Package, and crate, or palletize product as required for safe shipment.
- Use pallet jack, forklift truck, hoist, hand tools, etc.
- Detect and report faulty operation of equipment, defective material and unusual conditions to supervisor.
- Maintain equipment and work area in a clean and orderly manner.
- Follow standard safety, quality and quantity requirements.
- Familiarity working with computers, able to learn/ adapt quickly (new ERP system on horizon) Online scheduling with couriers such as Purolator, UPS.

**EXPERIENCE REQUIRED**
- Minimum of 2 years of manufacturing shipping and receiving.
- Intermediate MS Word, Excel and Outlook skills
- Fluent in English
- Experience with scheduling truck
- Cross border understanding, customs, NAFTA documents. Scheduling truck runs (Canada Cartage)

Pay: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
