ABOUT THIS ROLE

Our Head Coach is responsible for creating high-impact training experiences that our customers love and that gets them results

As Head Coach at ProductLed, you will own our training content and help us create experiences that empower our customers to build successful product-led businesses. The training experiences you create will utilize content, coaching, and community.

You’ll be joining as part of the foundational team of a profitable proven startup. We’ve built a successful training program to date but are looking for new ways to provide even more value to our customers. As part of the team, you’ll integrate into our community of experts including leaders who’ve helped build companies like Slack, Keap, Vidyard, ProductBoard, and Miro.

ABOUT PRODUCTLED

Traditionally, if you’d like to purchase software in a business-to-business environment you’d have to go through a long, drawn out buying process where you talk to a sales representative, get qualified, and then work with an account executive to iron out the terms and conditions to purchase the software. And then you’d be able to use the product. Let’s hope it’s good

Thankfully, those days are coming to an end. Today, buyers want to “try before they buy” - whether that’s signing up for a free trial or a freemium model to see if a product can really deliver on its promise. Showing is (and will always be) more powerful than telling people about your product.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
- Head of Content: You’ll work closely with Laura Kluz who leads our content team and is responsible for driving engaged users to the site.
- Product Manager: You’ll work closely with Ben Yihdego to implement website experiments, improve the user journey, user research, and rolling out projects.
- Operations Lead: You’ll collaborate with Pierce Ramirez on creating the training schedule and organizing all the details surrounding the training itself. Pierce’s team will work closely with you to make sure that you can focus on training and don’t have to worry about setting up the tools.
- CEO: You’ll report directly to Wes Bush and will work closely to set goals, remove bottlenecks, generate new ideas, and create a plan of attack

We have a proven playbook to hit these numbers you can use to get started but we’re looking for someone who isn’t afraid to experiment.

WHAT A TYPICAL WEEK IN THIS ROLE MIGHT LOOK LIKE
- Craft a new workshop
- Host weekly live workshops
- Interview guests on the ProductLed Podcast
- Respond to questions in our member slack
- Build relationships with new expert guests
- Training and sourcing ProductLed Coaches
- Write a monthly training newsletter
- Coaching students
- Collaborate with team to brainstorm ideas to improve training experience
- Review your training metrics

- Fluent written and verbal English communication skills
- Deep PLG experience
- Curious and passionate about PLG
- Open to new ideas
- Isn’t afraid to share their ideas
- Is a great coach

- Exceptional communicator

- Extremely adaptable

Nice to Have
- ProductLed Alum and/or familiar with our company
- Coaching experience
- Experience leading a PLG team
