**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Greet patients warmly and assist them with check-in and check-out processes.
- Manage phone systems, answering calls promptly and addressing patient inquiries.
- Schedule appointments and maintain an organized calendar for healthcare providers.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and current pharmacy.
- Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) accurately and securely.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, office inventory and managing office supplies.
- Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure efficient patient flow within the office.
- Handle billing inquiries and process payments as needed.

**Skills**
- Proficient in medical terminology to effectively communicate with patients and staff.
- Experience as a Medical Office Assistant or in a similar role within a medical office setting is preferred.
- Familiarity with electronic medical records systems, particularly Oscar/Med Access or similar platforms.
- Strong administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly front desk environment.
- Proficient in using office equipment and phone systems to support daily operations.
- Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
- Collect Pt vitals, weights and lab samples.
- Maintenance and operation of the autoclave for sterilization of instruments as well as regular disinfecting according to office policies.

Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
