We produce a variety of tarts and pies using specialized automated equipment. We are currently seeking a **Lead Hand** to coordinate our **Tart Production Line**, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety on the floor.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Lead the daily production activities of the **Tart Line**, ensuring adherence to schedule, quality, and safety standards.
- Operate and assist with setup and adjustments of **depositors**, **fillers**, and other machinery used in tart production.
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot minor issues to minimize downtime.
- Supervise and coordinate a small team of production workers, assigning tasks and ensuring productivity.
- Ensure proper **cleaning and sanitation** of all machines and work areas at the end of the shift.
- Assist in training new employees on safe and efficient operation of the tart line.
- Communicate regularly with supervisors and maintenance team regarding any issues or suggestions for improvement.
- Maintain documentation and checklists as required (e.g., line inspections, cleaning logs).

**Requirements**:

- **Minimum of 1 year of experience working in Canada** in a food production or industrial bakery setting.
- Experience operating or working with **depositors**, **filling machines**, and **automated tart production equipment**.
- Prior experience as a lead hand, line leader, or machine operator in a fast-paced production environment is an asset.
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently, with a focus on results and quality.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and good manufacturing practices (GMP).
- Basic English communication skills (verbal and written).

**Compensation & Benefits**:

- **Hourly wage range**: CAD **$19.00 - $21.00**, depending on experience and qualifications.
- Benefits after probation period: health plan, paid vacation, uniform, employee discount on bakery products.
