**Lead Quality Assurance for Critical Emergency Health Systems**

Bring your hands-on experience with IT testing tools, techniques, and testing automation to the Health Services I&IT Cluster, Emergency Health I&IT Solutions and Technology Management Branch, in the role of Test Lead.

**About Us**
The Health Services I&IT Cluster provides information management and information technology solutions that support the business requirements of the Ministry of Public and Business Service Delivery and Procurement and its agents. The cluster enables the Ontario government's I&IT Strategy and plays a leadership role in major business transformation initiatives and infrastructure projects.

**About the job**: Bring your QA and testing expertise to the branch. In this role, you will:

- lead project teams in planning and completing quality assurance and testing activities
- establish and implement common testing practices, including automation for all types of software and environment tests, including functional tests, unit and component tests, performance and load tests, usability and user acceptance tests and exploratory tests
- coordinate and lead the delivery of quality assurance and continuous improvement (QA, CI) services for the cluster and its partners

**What you bring to the team**:
**Technical Knowledge and Skills**: You have:

- the ability to test best practices in the context of agile development methodologies
- the ability to test within a cloud/on-prem environment, including pre-deployment, system integration, performance and UAT
- knowledge of testing Telephone, Radio systems and as well, tools used in dispatching environments

**Quality Assurance and Testing Knowledge and Skills**: You have:

- working knowledge of industry best practice testing automation tools
- experience with Testing automation tools

**Leadership and Analytical Skills**: You have:

- the ability to lead test planning activities and projects

**Communication Skills**: You have:

- customer service and consensus-building skills to determine client expectations for the development/implementation of information systems and technology that meet corporate efficiency, effectiveness, access and security goals
- the ability to provide credible/timely advice to senior management, lead quality control activities, undertake quality control reviews, report on findings, and recommend solutions to improve software quality
- the ability to write structured test strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases to ensure requirements' traceability
