Overhead Door Technician

Compensation: Up to $45/hr, Up to 4 weeks paid vacation, paid company medical benefits, company vehicle, company paid cell phone
**Responsibilities**
- Overhead door technician will install and service of variety of products including: sectional doors, rolling steel doors, high speed curtain doors, multi-blade doors, and others.
- Troubleshoot equipment: mechanical, electrical, hydraulic and other failures
- Interact with customers and contractors in a courteous and professional manner
- Standard business hours are 8:00am-4:30pm. Overtime and On-call service are sometimes required. To be an overhead door technician is to commit to serving the customer’s need.
**Working Conditions**:
- Standard environmental conditions include industrial and commercial facilities. Door envelope is often dusty/dirty/oily and can be in a cooler or freezer (as in the case of food handling).
- Work can be outside, must be prepared for weather conditions.
- Physical requirements include standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and ladder use for extended periods.
- Comfortability with heights is required.
- Some heavy lifting required
- Use of powered lift equipment such as scissor lifts and boom lifts both indoor and outdoor.
- Use of hand tools and power tools
**Qualifications**
- Experience in industrial maintenance, welding, and electrical systems is an asset.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and provide proof of Fall Arrest and EWP training
- Must provide own hand tools and cordless drill, large power tools provided
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $30.00-$45.00 per hour

COVID-19 considerations:
Technicians are required to follow on-site protocols for customer properties. We recommend all technicians to wear a mask and wash/sanitize frequently.
**Experience**:
- Industrial maintenance: 1 year (preferred)
