We are seeking a **Communication Student** for our **Solar District **that are available for **4 month or 8 months starting January 6, 2025.**

As a **Communications Student** and depending on your assigned project, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our team by:
**Responsibilities**:

- Researching, writing, and proofreading a wide range of engaging content for internal and external audiences, including articles, social media posts, website content, news releases, project profiles, executive communications, and proposal narratives.
- Coordinating the development and execution of projects/initiatives, as assigned.
- Developing and maintaining strong customer-focused relationships with our internal and external stakeholders.
- Monitoring, measuring, and analyzing engagement on traditional and social media platforms.
- Working collaboratively with the Marketing Manager to develop creative visual content.
- Supporting the ideation, planning and execution of district events.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s degree or diploma in journalism, communications or equivalent.
- A proficient writer with excellent proofreading skills and a high attention to detail.
- Knowledge of various communication media.
- A team player with a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.
- Self-driven with the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and take initiative in a deadline-oriented, fast-paced environment.
- A critical thinker with sound decision making skills.
- Ability to research, analyze and organize information accurately and effectively.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.
- We will consider it an asset if you have previous:

- Photography, video production, and graphic design experience.
- Co-op/Intern experience.
