**Contract Pastry & Chocolate Consultant - La Fraise Rose**
Vancouver, BC | Part-Time Contract

**About the Role**:
You’ll collaborate with our team to **develop and design a seasonal chocolate menu** for the holidays. This includes creating new chocolate treats, luxury chocolate-covered strawberry designs, and other specialty offerings that align with our brand’s elevated, modern, and indulgent aesthetic.

**Responsibilities**:

- Conceptualize and develop **new seasonal chocolate creations** for the holiday menu.
- Design innovative **chocolate strawberry styles and arrangements**.
- Ensure all recipes and designs align with La Fraise Rose’s luxury brand identity.
- Provide consultation on chocolate/pastry techniques, flavor combinations, and presentation.
- Train team members on how to prepare and execute new menu items.
- Collaborate with the team to test and refine products before launch.

**Requirements**:

- **Professional experience** in pastry, chocolate, or confectionery (minimum 2 years).
- Strong knowledge of chocolate tempering, decoration, and presentation.
- Creative eye for **luxury product design** and trend alignment.
- Ability to work collaboratively while bringing fresh ideas to the table.
- Flexible with hours and workload, especially around peak holiday seasons.

**Commitment**:

- Contract role: Up to **10-20 hours per week** (may increase during peak season).
- Hours will be discussed and finalized upon hiring.

**Compensation**:

- **$21/hr to start**, with potential for extended opportunities based on performance and seasonal demand.
