**Overview**
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Deli Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality deli products. You will play a vital role in ensuring food safety and maintaining a clean kitchen environment. **Responsibilities**
- Prepare, cook, and present deli items such as sandwiches, salads, and hot foods with attention to quality and presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the deli area, ensuring all food safety and sanitation standards are met.
- Manage daily operations of the deli, including inventory control, stock rotation, and ordering supplies as needed.
- Train and supervise deli staff to ensure excellent customer service and efficient operations.
- Develop and implement new menu items and specials to meet customer demand.
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and friendly manner.
- Monitor sales, reduce waste, and maximize profitability in the deli department.

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience as a deli cook or supervisor, preferably in a grocery store or food service environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage a team.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
