- We are looking for:_ **Materials Testing Field Technician**

Do you enjoy hands-on, outdoor work where you can see the impact of your efforts? Are you passionate about quality and ensuring things are done right? As a Materials Testing Field Technician at Advance Testing, you’ll be playing a key role in keeping construction projects on track and up to standard.

**What You’ll Be Doing**:

- Testing Concrete: Conduct slump, air, and temperature tests, and prep compressive-strength cylinders and cubes.
- Testing Asphalt: Sample and test asphalt, perform compaction testing with a nuclear densometer, and document results precisely.
- Testing Soils: Sample soil and aggregate, perform compaction tests, and ensure everything meets project requirements.
- Quality Assurance: Make sure soils and aggregates meet the specifications laid out in each project.
- Plan Review: Analyze plans to verify correct test locations and elevations.
- Communication: Keep clients updated on results, addressing any issues and suggesting corrective actions when needed.
- Scheduling: Coordinate with dispatch and clients to keep everything on schedule.
- Report Submission: Complete and submit reports on time.
- Equipment Care: Regularly calibrate testing equipment and maintain it in top condition.
- Property Maintenance: Take care of company property and keep it in excellent shape.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Valid driver’s license and a willingness to travel to job sites when needed
- Experience in materials testing or a related field
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills and a knack for problem-solving
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Reliable and self-motivated—able to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Basic math skills and the ability to read civil drawings and plans

Expected hours: 40 - 50 per week
