Nisku, Canada Urban Life Solutions Full time

Urban Life Solutions is currently looking for several Full time Landscape Laborer’s to work in Nisku within the Snow Removal division. This position will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks, mainly snow removal (manual or small handheld equipment) in winter for industrial, municipal and, commercial properties, while providing exceptional customer service. Please note that these are not seasonal positions, we are looking to fill full-time, year-round roles. Our winter term is 40 hours guaranteed pay per week. Contracts start in November.

**Responsibilities**:
Demonstrating safety leadership and safe work practices at all times

Working in accordance with ULS policies and procedures

Providing exceptional customer service

Manual snow removal (days or nights shifts available)

Additional tasks as required

Basic/Required Qualifications

Minimum High School Diploma

Valid Driver’s License (class 5) and ability to provide copy of driver’s abstract

Working knowledge of the use of common hand and power tools relative to landscape maintenance

Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to understand and carry out verbal and written instructions

Legally authorized to work in Canada

Preferred Qualifications

Previous landscaping, snow removal and/or maintenance experience is an asset

Ability to take direction, give direction, learn and work independently as well as part of a team

Motivated and energetic team player with an attention to detail and great work ethic

Working Conditions/Physical Demands

Ability to perform moderate to heavy intensive tasks for extended periods of time

Working in a variety of outdoor environments with the ability to withstand cold and hot temperatures

Physically Demanding position

Significant standing, walking, climbing, stooping, kneeling

Repetitive Motions

Ability to regularly lift, carry, push and pull weights of up to 100 lbs
