**About the Role**:
Cutting Edge Landscaping Ltd. is seeking reliable and hardworking individuals to join our snow removal team for the upcoming winter season. This is an **on-call position** that requires flexibility and commitment as work schedules are dictated by snowfall and weather conditions.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Perform snow and ice removal using shovels, sweepers, backpack blowers, and snowblowers
- Application of sand and ice melt
- Work safely and efficiently during early morning and/or night shifts
- Complete physically demanding outdoor work in all winter conditions
- Maintain equipment and report any maintenance issues
- Work long shifts and occasionally multiple days in a row, depending on snowfall
**Requirements**:
- Valid **Class 5 Driver’s License** (clean abstract is a bonus)
- Reliable transportation to and from work sites
- Ability to work outdoors in cold and snowy conditions for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Previous snow removal experience is an asset but not required
**Compensation & Incentives**:
- Competitive hourly wage
- **Season-end wage premium bonus** for employees who consistently show up and complete their assigned shifts throughout the season
**Schedule**:
- On-call, based on snowfall
- Early morning and/or overnight shifts
