Ottawa, Canada Grenier Law Full time

Six month contract full time OR part time hours (possibility of permanent position) for an experienced personal injury legal assistant or law clerk (three years plus - pay reflective of experience).

Skills:

- Experience in civil litigation (plaintiff personal injury)
- Obtaining productions; answering undertakings
- Proficiency with MS Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook; Adobe Acrobat Pro; PC Law;
- Able to multitask, complete diverse tasks independently, including preparing correspondence and (boilerplate) legal documents, following precise formatting practices;
- Scheduling meetings and diarizing tasks;
- Answering the phones and dealing with people (opposing counsel, clients, etc);
- Other administrative and/or legal assistant/law clerk tasks as required.
- Dedicated,

- Punctual,
- Responsible,
- Able to work independently as well as with others,
- Follows instructions (with attention to detail),
- Computer proficient,
- Teachable,
- Professional (confidentiality is paramount)

Rate commensurate with experience.

Location, downtown Ottawa (hybrid is possible).

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
