Operational Service Coordinator

With an emphasis on relationships and customer service, Jones Electric of Kitchener leads the way for excellence with experienced electricians and quality electrical workmanship. From residential renovations, retrofitting and electrical maintenance of older commercial buildings, we manage projects thoroughly from start to completion.
As the **Operational Service Coordinator**, you will be a key member of our team - responsible for scheduling all jobs, managing projects, and providing exceptional communication and service to our valued customers.
**Roles and Responsibilities**
- Review all incoming work orders, contact customers to gather details and schedule electrical service
- Work with Service Manager to schedule all jobs for Electricians and Apprentices
- Conduct reminder calls to customers ahead of time
- Review completed work orders, making sure all information is accurate and communicating updates to customers as needed
- Monitor open and ongoing work orders to ensure they are billed or scheduled in a timely manner
- Ensure all work orders are organized and filed correctly
- Assist with planning and organising staff training and meetings
- Take out permits and schedule inspections with the Electrical Safety Authority as necessary
- Demonstrate professionalism and excellent customer service in all situations
- Submit accurate and completed timesheets weekly
- Maintain a safe work environment by adhering to all company guidelines
- Other tasks as required
**Required Skills & Experience**
- Passion for customer service and accuracy in a fast-paced environment
- Able to manage time and multiple priorities to accomplish a variety of tasks
- Highly organized, with an eye for detail
- Experience managing schedules and dispatching
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
- Experience with Google Drive, Excel, Word, Quickbooks. Previous working experience with Time & Materials considered an asset.
This is a full-time permanent position at our office in Kitchener. Office hours are 8 am - 4 pm, Monday to Friday. Can be flexible on start/end time.

**Salary**: $23.00-$26.00 per hour
