**Job Summary, Essential Duties and Responsibilities**

*Direct and control traffic in the yard, weighing vehicles in and out on our scales and control traffic in the yard, weighing vehicles in and out on our scales*
- Very demanding fast-pace outdoor environment
- Working outdoors year round
- Learning to determine metal: ferrous and non-ferrous
- Communicating with the Scalehouse and operators via radio
- Communicating and interacting with the public in a courteous and professional manner
- Cleaning scale area and yard
- Other duties as assigned
- Full time position: Monday to Friday

**Physical Demands and/or Work Environment**
- This is an entry level position, no equipment skills needed
- Standing, walking for at least 7 hours outdoors
- Frequent holding and grasping with the hands when checking and unloading customers
- Occasional lifting to 50 lbs.
- Climbing on trucks
- Schedule: Monday to Friday: 8.30am-5.00pm

**Outdoor work, exposure to bright lights, extreme temperatures, loud noise, dust, gas and/or fumes.**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.50-$20.00 per hour
