**DESCRIPTION**

We are currently looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Manager (FP&A Manager) to join the Finance team at Circle Medical Technologies. As we continue to grow, we are constantly searching for exceptional talent to be a part of our team. This position is based out of our offices in Montreal, Canada.

The FP&A Manager is a key leadership role within the finance department of an organization. This position is responsible for overseeing and managing the financial planning and analysis functions, providing strategic insights, and driving data-driven decision-making processes.

The FP&A Manager reports to the Director of Financial Operations and plays a significant role in shaping the financial strategy of the company, providing senior management with the information and analysis necessary to make informed decisions and drive sustainable growth.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- ** Financial Planning and Budgeting**:

- Lead the development and execution of the company's annual budgeting and quarterly reforecasting process.
- Collaborate with department heads and business unit leaders to establish budgetary targets and financial goals.
- Monitor and analyze actual financial performance against budget, identifying variances and proposing corrective actions as necessary.
- **
Forecasting and Financial Modeling**:

- Own and maintain financial models (Growth and 3 statements) to forecast future financial performance based on various scenarios and assumptions.
- Provide accurate and timely financial forecasts to support executive decision-making and planning processes.
- Integrate and utilize FP&A Software (Planful) to improve forecasting capabilities, turnaround time and accuracy.
- Identify trends, opportunities, and risks by analyzing financial data and market trends.
- **
Management Reporting and Analysis**:

- Prepare and present regular financial reports to senior leaders.
- Deliver insightful analyses of financial results, key performance indicators (KPIs) by Business Unit and Department, and business metrics to support strategic decision-making.
- Provide meaningful insights into the company's financial performance and potential areas for improvement.
- **
Business Partnering**:

- Collaborate with operational stakeholders locally and globally, to support their financial planning needs and align financial goals with operational strategies.
- Work closely with business unit leaders to assess the financial impact of potential business initiatives and investments.
- **
Team Management and Development**:

- Build and coach a team of analysts to develop their skills and perspective to better support the business.
- **
Financial Analysis and Decision Support**:

- Evaluate capital allocation decisions, investment proposals, and cost optimization strategies to enhance financial performance.
- Assess the financial impact of various business decisions and propose actionable recommendations.

**WHAT YOU’LL BRING**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance/Accounting or related degree required.
- 7+ years of experience in progressively responsible financial roles.
- CFA, CPA or other relevant certifications helpful but not required.
- Proven experience in budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, and financial analysis.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and perform sensitivity analysis scenarios.
- Excellent communication, emotional intelligence and presentation skills to convey financial insights to internal & external stakeholders.
- Advanced proficiency in financial software and visualization tools, such as Excel, Looker, Planful and MS Dynamics.
- Strategic thinking and the ability to align financial goals with overall business objectives.
