**Responsibilities**
- Lead the proposal, planning and delivery of consulting engagements with a focus on strategy and planning services in the private, public, not-for-profit and Indigenous sectors
- Execute program reviews, service delivery, program design, business planning, feasibility studies, strategic planning, operational planning, program re-deigns, financial analysis and other forms of management consulting
- Manage engagement planning and scheduling as well as project financials (budgets, WIP, timely billing, collection, variance recognition)
- Identify innovative ways to deliver added value to clients; ensure needs are met and relationships grow and develop
- Review, design and develop high-quality deliverables including reports, presentations and other correspondence
- Network in the local business community, consider business development opportunities and lead the preparation and delivery of competitive proposals to meet client needs
- Mentor, motivate and coach team members towards professional and personal development by setting clear expectations, providing feedback and conducting performance reviews
- Maintain flexibility to travel, as necessary

**Skills and Experience**
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business, economics, political science or other related field
- CMC, PMP, Lean or other related certifications are considered an asset but not required
- 5 to 10 years of public sector policy and/or program delivery experience with government would be an asset but not required
- Potential consulting experience, ideally in a client-service environment, would be an asset but not required
- Demonstration of practical project management skills and tactics
- Proven people management, relationship building and leadership skills
