**About the Role**

We are seeking an experienced and reliable **Freelance Property Manager** to support the oversight and daily management of a medium to large sized residential property in central Alberta (North of Red Deer). This role offers flexible hours, is 90% home based and is ideal for a professional who is tech-savvy, organized, and excels at communication and customer service.

**Responsibilities**
- Manage day-to-day property operations and respond to tenant inquiries and calls
- Coordinate and oversee maintenance requests, repairs, and vendor services
- Liaise with contractors to perform maintenance work and repairs as needed
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure upkeep and compliance
- Facilitate leasing activities, including showings, tenant screening, and preparing lease agreements
- Handle rent collection, reporting, and basic bookkeeping/documentation tasks
- Maintain detailed digital records and communication logs
- Provide timely updates to property owners and ensure a high standard of service
- Ensure all actions comply with local housing regulations and property standards
- Answer and respond to calls

**Requirements**:

- **Previous property management experience is required**:

- **Technology-inclined**: comfortable using property management software, apps, and digital tools
- **Excellent communication and interpersonal skills**:

- **Strong time-management and organizational abilities**:

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively
- Reliable transportation for property visits
- **Must be able to pass a criminal record check**:

- **Must be willing to sign a confidentiality agreement prior to contract start**:

- **This position does require someone who is willing to be readily available after hours if needed for emergency calls**

**Contract Details**
- Flexible, part-time contract (hours vary based on workload)
- Combination of remote admin work and on-site property visits
- Competitive contract rate based on experience
