**NFP’s Commercial Lines Division**

**What You’ll Do**
We’re looking for an **Inside Sales Account Executive/Producer** to join our award-winning Business Insurance division for our Greater Toronto Area Clients. The AE will leverage their industry knowledge & experience to initiate and develop new commercial lines relationships for Small/Medium Enterprise businesses.
- Identify business development opportunities for smaller, less sophisticated accounts, with expectations of developing skills to support larger, more complex accounts
- Responsible for developing and increasing sales by compiling lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from newspapers, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet websites, and other sources
- Report actual results to the team and utilizes tools such as Salesforce and Epic
- Develop submissions (in conjunction with commercial lines underwriting staff) to markets that will meet the present/emerging needs of the client and close the sale
- Hand-off responsibility for the provision of service to clients to the relevant Account Manager in the service teams
- When appropriate to the maintenance of good customer service, field customer service requests (especially post-sale of one’s clients), and ensure the completion by oneself, or by referral to the service Account Manager
**What You Bring**
- **Valid RIBO License Required (other provincial licenses are a plus)**
- Typically, 1+ years of commercial lines insurance sales experience is preferred
- Knowledge of risks associated with SME Business (Contractors, Professional Liability, Retail, etc.)
- Self-Motivated with a passion for sales & committed to delivering a top-notch client experience
- Self-managing with strong analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills with attention to the details
- Confident, poised, and interactive - when client-facing communicates effectively, demonstrate emotional intelligence, and understands how to tailor responses in a variety of dynamic situations
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong team player with the ability to adapt to and collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders
- Proven technical competency and creativity demonstrating excellence in developing and delivering innovative property and casualty solutions
- Excellent computer skills are expected and EPIC fluency is an asset
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite products - specifically Word, Excel, and Outlook
