**BOARDWALK CAFE** is currently hiring **BARISTAS** to join our team

**SCALE HOSPITALITY **is based in Toronto and has a wide-range of unique restaurant and bar concepts in it’s portfolio. The company behind Shook, Lapinou, Wheatsheaf Tavern, The Fortunate Fox, Miller Taverns, GG’s Burgers, Toronto Beach Club, **BOARDWALK CAFE **and many more new ventures.

We are looking for an experience and hardworking **BARISTA**. Who says perfection doesn’t exist? If you strive to provide perfectly beverages, we would love to hear from you

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Prepare beverages, accurately to recipe specs, and mix and match ingredients in innovative ways
- Learning about brewing methods, beverage blends, food preparation, and presentation techniques to improve food quality
- Answer questions about food, beverages and other restaurant functions and services; explain/romance the menu concept and style when necessary
- Be responsive and helpful with regard to off-menu items and expand personal knowledge in this area as much as possible
- Ring in orders accurately, adding modifiers where needed
- Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience

**SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years minimum experience as a barista in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving beverages; keen desire to expand knowledge and keep on trends
- A positive, energetic outlook with a passion for hospitality
- Able to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Highly organized with acute attention to detail
- Ability to walk and stand for long periods of time
