**Overview** Come work with us at one of the most unique snack bars the Blue Mountain area has to offer We are looking for an energetic, reliable person with a shining personality and easy-going attitude to join our small but mighty team at Penny’s Motel If you enjoy good coffee, chatting with guests, and keeping things running smoothly, we’d love to meet you. No two mornings are the same, but here’s a good idea of what your weekend shifts might look like: **In the Coffee Shop** - Open up the space and get the day started - Set the vibe with the perfect playlist and lighting - Craft delicious coffees and teas for guests and locals - Keep the café area tidy, welcoming, and well-stocked - Set up the patio and fireside area for those "coffee in the sunshine" mornings **Around the Motel**: - Greet guests and assist with any questions or requests - Offer local tips — help guests discover great beaches, trails, restaurants, and hidden gems in the area - Set up our courtyard and patio area to create a relaxing outdoor vibe - Open the pool and ensure it’s ready for guest use - Refill ice coolers to keep things chill (literally) - Tidy public spaces and do light cleaning, dusting, and organizing - Lend a hand getting rooms prepped and ready for check-ins **You'd Be Great At This If You**: - Love making people feel welcome and at ease - Enjoy the rhythm of morning routines and peaceful tasks - Take pride in a clean, well-kept space - Know and love Georgian Bay - Are proactive and comfortable working both independently and as part of a small team - Previous barista experience is preferred but willing to train the right superstar **Must be available weekends**: Saturdays: 8:45am - 1pm Sundays: 8:45am - 3pm **Job Types**: Part-time, Seasonal Contract length: 3 months Pay: $17.50-$19.00 per hour Expected hours: 10 per week Additional pay: - Tips **Benefits**: - Discounted or free food - On-site parking - Store discount Schedule: - Every Weekend - Morning shift **Location**: - Thornbury, ON (preferred) Work Location: In person
