We are looking for an amazing person with a shining personality and easy-going attitude to join our small but mighty team in Apres Snack Bar at Penny’s Motel Offering a laid back and unique vibe, Penny’s and Après welcome travelers from around the world as well as local residents of the Blue Mountain Area. In addition to our regular snack/shareables menu, Après features an Oyster Bar as well as extensive cocktail/beer and wine offerings 7 nights a week. Meet people from across the globe and share your love of good food, good bevvies and local activities/secret places

A fluid position combining serving, bartending, shucking and more, Après offers a place to learn and grow while connecting with and entertaining our incredible guests. For the right person, the position may transition into a crew chief role where you would actively run some evening services.

Duties can include (not limited to):

- Outstanding customer service skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
- Serving guests at the bar or on the patio
- Checking on guests often; suggesting additional items or pairings
- Collecting payments from customers
- Operating point of sale terminals and providing bills to customers
- Cleaning the bar and the area around it
- Operating blenders, coffee makers and other equipment
- Washing glassware and bar utensils
- Mixology or the ability to make traditional cocktails
- Familiarity with local liquor laws and the ability to enforce them
- Basic math skills and the ability to keep track of customer tabs
- Food safety and preparation skills including an understanding of how viruses and bacteria can spread
- Emptying trash, mopping floors, and taking care of other routine tasks for opening, mid or end of shift
- Ensuring compliance with federal, provincial or territorial liquor and food safety regulations
- Smart Serve Certification required
- Safe Food Handlers Certificate preferred

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time
Part-time hours: 25 - 40 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
