We are currently seeking a Legal Assistant with strong communication and interpersonal skills to join our fast paced growing law firm. The Legal Assistant will be an integral part of our Corporate Immigration team.

Client management - serving as a primary point of contact for clients, anticipate client service needs and demonstrate resourcefulness;
- Prepare invoices for clients;
- Experience in dealing with corporate clients

**Core Knowledge**
- Work Permits: Intra-company transferees; Free Trade Agreement Professionals, Traders and Investors, Significant Benefit; Self-employed/Entrepreneurs; Coaches and Athletes; Charitable and Religious Workers; Reciprocity; Camp Counselors; Film/TV Personnel; International Experience Canada, and Bridging, Spousal and Post-Graduate Open Work Permits
- Permanent Residency: Express Entry; Self-Employed Persons; Start-up Visa; and Provincial Nominees including skilled workers, skilled trades, occupations in demand, investors/entrepreneurs, and employer driven streams
- Labour Market Impact Assessments: High Wage/Low Wage; Start-up; Global Talent Stream; Seasonal Agricultural Workers; Caregivers; Advertising and Recruitment Campaigns

**Requirements**:

- Must have 2+ years of related experience
- University/College/Associates Degree an asset
- ICCRC certification an asset
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment
- Aptitude to prioritize tasks based on comparative importance and urgency
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and PC Law an asset
- Excellent communication skills required
- Bilingualism is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: From $42,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

- TORONTO, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
