New Earth Therapy is hiring a Registered Psychologist, Registered Social Worker, Clinical Counsellor or other related designation for an independent contract position to work with _**child and youth clients**_.

**About this position**:
**Duties**:

- Conduct assessments and evaluations of individuals and families to determine their needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Provide counseling and support to individuals, families, and groups to address emotional, behavioral, and social issues
- Collaborate with other professionals to coordinate care and ensure the best outcomes for clients
- Advocate for clients' rights and access to resources and services
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of client interactions and progress per New Earth Therapy standards
- Stay informed about community resources and refer clients to appropriate services as needed
- Participate in inter-disciplinary meetings, peer consult team meetings, and collaborative meetings
- Participate in ongoing professional development

**Qualifications & Job Requirements**:

- Master's degree or Ph.D in Psychology, Social Work or related field
- Registration with a governing body
- Thorough understanding and adherence to your governing body’s ethical guidelines
- Proof of personal liability insurance
- Additional training in child development, play therapy, art therapy or other applicable area is considered a very strong asset
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- 2 years of experience in individual therapy is considered an asset
- Experience in addressing and supporting common mental health conditions, such as depression, anxiety, trauma, etc.
