Minuteman Press Hamilton is your local printing centre providing digital print, design, and promotional products to businesses. We are currently seeking a Customer Service and Production Assistant. The role involves regular interactions with clients as well as a variety of production responsibilities.

The hours are Monday-Thursday 9am-4pm and Friday 9am-3pm.

We happen to be conveniently located near a Tim Horton’s and many amazing local businesses in case you forget your lunch

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Enter customer information into database
- Prepare customer quotes
- Create work orders
- Process customers’ invoices and payments
- Digital and in-print file handling
- Create basic designs
- Verify files are ready for print based on job specifications
- Send customers proofs and make adjustments as required
- Set up and operate bindery equipment, including paper cutters, scoring machines, hole punches, laminators, and binding machines
- Track job progress and update customer on status as needed
- Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards
- Take photos of products for social media posts

**REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Exemplary people skills
- Excellent English written and oral communication skills
- Exceptional organization skills, time management skills, and attention to detail
- Aptitude for learning new programs, systems, and machinery quickly
- Able to be flexible and adapt as needed
- Graphic design skills and experience is an asset
- Printing and production experience is an asset
- Professional social media experience is an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$21.00 per hour
