The Auxiliary is a non-profit organization that works towards raising money for the hospital, which in turn goes towards new equipment, patient care and important services.

We are currently looking to hire front counter staff during the week for night time (1-8:30pm) and weekend shifts (8-4pm). A minimum of three shifts per week must be worked.

Working on the front line, you will be helping customers, taking food orders, assembling sandwiches, prepping food, and helping to set up or close down a station.

Good communication skills including a polite and friendly manner towards customers and fellow staff, are needed. Kindness and patience are important in this hospital environment.

You should have the ability to follow instructions accurately and work under pressure, displaying good organizational skills and the ability to set priorities.

The Café is a busy spot, and being located inside KGH, we frequently clean high touch surfaces throughout the day. Although _masking is NOT mandatory while in the hospital in our area (currently) we do provide them for staff who would prefer to wear them._

Please note the physical requirements of the job. (ie ; Standing for long periods of time, bending, some lifting)

A satisfactory criminal reference check and health check will be required to work in this environment, as well as completion of a Medical Form.
