Skills + Qualifications
- In depth knowledge / expertise of the hospitality / food & beverage industry.
- 5+ years of serving and/or bartending in fast paced, high volume café environment.
- 3+ years of management experience.
- High personal integrity, professionalism and maturity.
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of organization and problem solving skills in a fast paced environment while acting as a respected leader.
- Superior verbal, interpersonal, leadership and communication skills.
- Detail oriented personality.
- Barista, cocktail and wine knowledge.
- Smart Serve certification required.
- Be well versed and up to date with WHMIS, Work Place Health & Safety & Public Health food handling certificates
- Knowledge of Maitre ‘d POS systems and ability to problem solve IT issues (modems, computers, debit & credit machines)
- Ability to motivate and manage staff and work effectively as part of a management team.
- Excellent math, reading, writing and communication skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills.
- Valid Drivers license.
- Experience/Training/Education in social media marketing a plus.
