SAIT’s **Continuing Education and Professional Studies (CEPS)** focuses on non-credit programs supporting corporate training, the individual learner and international projects. We create courses and programs for life-long learning with careers at our core. Our courses range from exploring general interests to up-skilling for career advancement and reskilling for career changes. We complete all background activities required to set up our products for students to purchase and experience several delivery options.

**The Opportunity**

Reporting to the Manager, Product and Learner Success, the Product Coordinator is responsible for coordinating a suite of products across CEPS product stack. This entails coordinating tactical aspects including making scheduling and cancellation decisions, driving product renewals and maintenance, leading the product sunsetting process, and supporting the Business Development team, so they can effectively sell products domestically and internationally. The Product Coordinator also provides support for events and go-to-market strategies for various products.

This position supports the Product Manager with conducting competitive reviews, mapping the learner journey, preparing funding reports, conducting product retrospectives, managing inbound licensing, and preparing instructor orientations.

The role’s focus is on ensuring quality programming, maintaining accurate and comprehensive website content, driving instructor and learner satisfaction, reducing course cancellation rates, and working collaboratively across Continuing Education and Professional Studies and SAIT.

**The Role**:
- ** Product Planning and Coordination**:

- Roll out, optimize and monitor project management function in Wrike
- Assist in determining product specifications
- Liaise with Marketing and Advising around state of website
- Assist in determining product delivery options including face to face, blended, and online modalities
- Control and track product revenue and expenses for defined product stack
- Review periodic enrolment and financial performance reports
- Create and maintain product schedules working closely with Delivery Services
- Coordinate with Product Managers, Finance, and Legal to support inbound licensing agreements
- ** Research and Analysis**:

- Analyze market conditions related to Continuing Education offerings
- Identify key competitor and consumer trends
- Articulate key market requirements and opportunities
- Identify opportunities for product innovation and product enhancements
- Support the discovery phase, concept development, and product pitch presentations
- Conduct detailed product retrospectives on a regular basis
- Coordinate with Finance and Business Services to prepare funding reports
- ** Sales and Marketing Support**:

- Liaise with the Product Manager and Marketing to develop and implement go-to-market plans and campaigns to successfully launch products, generate product awareness, and drive demand
- Support Business Development with the necessary product knowledge and technical expertise
- Provide input for marketing collateral development
- Maintain up-to-date enrolment and revenue reports and coordinate this activity with research and marketing information to track effectiveness of marketing efforts
- Drive ongoing improvement in sales and profitability
- Support events like information sessions, graduations, industry panel discussions, etc.
- ** Product Performance and Learner Support**:

- Coordinate with Advising on product-related support, feedback and inquiries from current and prospective students
- Ensure accurate and comprehensive product information on website
- Coordinate market research to track customer/student and end-user feedback
- Monitor product inventory to maintain currency of offerings in product stack
- Use market feedback to inform product refinements and ongoing development
- Collate instructor and learner feedback to support product renewals and maintenance
- The position is also expected to demonstrate leadership competencies that support institutional goals, increase the profile of the department within SAIT, and influence and support adherence to Product Governance.

**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
- Previous product coordination or related experience in continuing education
- Knowledge of marketing principles and practices
- Knowledge of business and management principles and practices
- Project management skills are essential to the success of this role

**Salary Range**: $35.99 - $37.58
