**Procurement Coordinator**

The Procurement Coordinator will be responsible for the coordination and administration of all activities related to the procurement of goods and services. This includes developing and maintaining supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, issuing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries. The Procurement Coordinator will work closely with other departments within the company to ensure that all procurement activities are aligned with the company’s overall strategy.

**What will you do?**
- Develop, maintain, and negotiate all contracts/tender packages for Rohit Communities nationally.
- Assist with contracts for other company divisions.
- Develop and maintain strong supplier relationships.
- Support the tendering process from start to finish.
- Manage quality control through supplier management.
- Maintain, update, and verify direct cost and indirect cost budgets.
- Evaluate and adjust for variances to budgets.
- Participate and lead cost review and cost to complete review.
- Create project proformas, projected margin statements, and feasibility assessments.
- Ensure and monitor inventory database integrity.
- Perform tender and pricing analysis for presentation to stakeholders.
- Update Executive Management on supplier and market changes.
- Advise Executive Management on innovative procurement ideas and opportunities.
- Identify process issues and lead process improvement activities to reduce cost or improve throughput.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

- Experience establishing vendor agreements, including the ability to strategically assess and mitigate risk with vendors and suppliers an asset
- Knowledge of the local trade market in Alberta in the residential and low to mid rise commercial construction industry in considered an asset.

- In-depth business level understanding of job costing and any construction job costing Enterprise Resource Planning software.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
