Halcyon Hot Springs Resort is home to some of the most restorative hot spring waters in North America. We are looking for dynamic, team players who are interested in working in a remote wilderness location between beautiful **Nakusp, BC and Revelstoke, BC** We’re growing again and are looking for a **Housekeeping Attendant **to add to our incredible team of resort professionals.

**PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Routinely perform all housekeeping duties necessary; including stripping rooms, making beds, vacuuming, window washing and cleaning and disinfecting guest suites to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Loading and packing of housekeeping vans with all linens and required supplies
- Notifies management of any damage to guest rooms and ensures rooms are made ready for occupancy
- Knowledge of cleaning systems and chemicals
- Follow company health & safety procedures
- Communicate information to the appropriate resort personnel on any concerns or issues that may arise
- Must be able to interact with guests in a kind and courteous manner
- Perform other job duties as directed

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 1-2 years of housekeeping experience required
- Works well under pressure, can multi-task and is able to work within tight timelines
- A keen eye for detail and attention to detail
- Ability to drive gators, golf carts and housekeeping vans
- Time management and organizational skills
- Self-Starter with excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of WHIMS and chemical use
- Efficient and punctual
- Able to work independently and with a team in a fast paced outdoor environment
- Able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 40 pounds without assistance
- Able to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time - including stairs
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada without restriction

**Salary**: From $17.50 per hour

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Barrie, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
